This talisman is one in a series I was blessed to acquire several years ago, from a gifted spiritualist and scholar, who studied the cryptic contents of a rare book for decades, known as the Voynich Manuscript.

Written in the 15th century (carbon dated to 1404 - 1438), with a plain brown, tattered cover… without a title or author known… measuring approximately 9 x 6.5 inches, and consisting of over 200 pages of both writing in an unknown language and unknown alphabet consisting of 22 characters, and obscure illustrations of various unknown plants and cryptic circular star charts… the contents and “message” of this manuscript has remained a mystery for 600 years.

It’s history is also mysterious… but can be traced back to 1912, when it was obtained by Mr. Wilfred Voynich, from where the manuscript now gets it’s common name, and after his passing and his wifes passing, was eventually donated to the library at Yale University in 1969, where it remains to this day.

For decades, images of the pages were studied by this spiritualist and scholar, who I had come to know through several purchases he made from me, whom I shall refer to as Mr. H. He believed that the manuscript held secret spells, incantations and invocations of great power… and within the unknown alphabet and images, such could be found. It wasn’t until he discovered a rare form of “visual meditation”, as he called it… that his spiritual sight was able to see past the letters, flowers, stars and circular charts… to intuitively gain the sacred, secret knowledge within. He was then able to chant and cast these powerful unknown words, creating a series of extremely energetic talismans. The plant drawings, he explained, were also encoded visual messages, and the astrological charts, gave a series of “directions to face”, like a map, while calling upon and casting the energies…

Though Mr. H never shared with me the spiritual intuitive translation process, or the findings of his discoveries, he did leave a number of his talismans in his will to me. They are some of the rarest enchantments I have ever owned, and now, I feel led to part with a number of them, so that others can receive their unique, rare enchantments and anointings.
