This lovely talisman is one in a series of 20, that I was blessed to acquire last year… each enchanted with a spell from the Ljóðatal, or last chapter of the Havamal, of Words of the High One… a sacred ancient Viking collections of poetry, which ends with 20 powerful spells.

I am listing these items in the order of their position in the Havamal’s Ljóðatal…

The translation…

“A ninth I know: when need befalls me
to save my vessel afloat,
I hush the wind on the stormy wave,
and soothe all the sea to rest.“

… was enchanted in its original language and dialect, to bring about the powerful effects.

Protection whenever away from thy home… walking, driving, traveling (flying, on a cruise, subway, cab, bus, or any other means of transportation). For save journeys away, and a safe return.

Keep this talisman near a photograph of yourself, so that it’s anointing shall be upon and around thee always.
