Looking at old photographs, or writing down the names of elders that you know of, can be helpful, to focus upon the "cellular information" within your mind... the memories that are passed down, similar to instincts inherited. Although such focal points are not needed, they are helpful... Even if you only know the names or have pictures of a generation or two back, this will start the chain of generational memories forming, and unlock further and further back.
